Digging for songs and fans

It's been about 4 weeks since we released our first single of 2025 'Homegrown Potatoes' and the reaction has been good. We were a bit nervous about putting out a kind of novelty song but we decided what harm, the world could use a bit of fun. We've been lucky with some great airplay and interviews including RTE radio 1, Galway Bay FM, Shannon Side and Tipp FM and we've picked up a few lovely shows off the back of the release including a support to Sharon Shannon and a headline show at this years Fleadh na gCuach. It's been the first of our recent releases to connect in a real community way, we even got invited to perform the song at a local seed potatoes suppliers while folks jived their way around the shop. The recording of this track was done without to much fuss this time compared to the recording of 'What Will We Be' with the entire track recorded live with a bit of fun. All of this we hope will help us reach new fans and get more folks to our shows.
